William Kane Krinn, 18, of Ossian, died Tuesday Feb. 5, 2008, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne as a result of a shooting accident.
Born in Bluffton to Matt (Shelley) Krinn of Uniondale and Tonya (Scott) Hobson of Ossian on Oct. 10, 1989, he was a junior at Norwell High School.
He was a member of Norwell FFA, with 10 years of participation in 4-H. He was a three-year member of Norwell football team and wrestled for Norwell for one year. He was also a member of Vocational Auto Program at Southern Wells High School.
Surviving relatives include his mother and step-father, Tonya and Scott Hobson of Ossian; his father and stepmother, Matt and Shelley Krinn of Uniondale; two brothers, Trevor Frauhiger of Ossian and Keane Krinn of Uniondale; one sister, RieAnn Krinn of Uniondale; and grandparents, Bill and Joan Tumbleson of Wren, Ohio and Dale and Sally Krinn of Uniondale.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Fountain Community Church in Tocsin with the Rev. Tim Adkins and Rev. Dan Horwedel officiating. Calling hours will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home in Ossian and from one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Horeb Cemetery, near Uniondale.
Preferred memorials are to the Norwell High School Athletic Department’s football program, Norwell FFA or Fountain Community Church.
