The Homestead Spartans defeated the visiting Norwell Knights Tuesday in girls and boys swimming and diving.
The No. 4-ranked Homestead girls topped the No. 20 Knights 124-61 and the No. 5 Spartan boys won 133-53.
The Norwell girls were led by senior Paige Brink with two first-place finishes. She won the 200 yard freestyle in 1:59.34 and the 100 freestyle in 54.51 seconds.
Freshman Brooke Cossairt won the 500 freestyle in 5:35.65 and sophomore Kelly Brewer won the 50 freestyle in 26.35 seconds. Senior Alison Painter was third in the 50 in 27.63.
Top 20 Indiana Girls Swim Teams: Norwell is tied for 20th.
