Norwell (11-4) was leading 29-15 at halftime, but the Wildcats flip-flopped the score in the second half. They outscored the Knights 26-9, holding Norwell to just two points in the last period.
Ouch.
Good news though, the JV and freshmen won:
The Norwell junior varsity team beat Whitko 34-10. Alyssa Smith led the Knights with 10 points. Brittany Schumm, Caitlyn Ailor and Erin Hayes each added six. Breanna Wilson and Caitlyn McGrew chipped in with three apiece.
The Norwell freshman team played South Adams last night and won 46-5. Amanda McAfee tallied 14 points, Eden Chaney 13, Amber Haiflich 11, Rachel Lind four and Kelsey Kintz four.
