Kent Maggard, a one-time pitcher with the Cleveland Indians, is an Ossian native with 20 years of banking experience.Maybe he can do something about that name: Fifth Third... which is it!
Maggard graduated from Purdue University, which he attended on a baseball scholarship. He also attended banking school at the University of Oklahoma. Before joining Fifth Third, Maggard worked for Waterfield Mortgage for slightly more than a year.He's married to Karen Maggard and the father of three: two daughters and a son. Attending their sporting events is one of Maggard's priorities. He and his wife enjoy travel and golf.
Maggard volunteers as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters and will be corporate chairman for the 2008 Northeast Indiana Heart Walk. He has served on the local boards of Habitat for Humanity and the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Northeast Indiana.
