Andrea Vogel scored 20 points and Haley Chaney 18 to lead the Norwell Knights girls basketball team to a 70-45 victory over the New Haven Bulldogs Friday night at New Haven.
The Class 3A No. 10 Knights improved their season record to 13-4 and now stand 5-1 in the Northeast Hoosier Conference after muzzling the Bulldogs.
The Norwell junior varsity squad won 40-15 to improve to 12-5. Caitlyn McGrew tallied 13 and Alyssa Smith 10. Caitlyn Ailor had five, Breanna Wilson four, Brittany Schumm three, Kyra Raines two, Kelsey Kline two and Rachel McAfee one.The 9th-grade Knights lost 42-27. Amanda McAfee had 14 to lead Norwell (13-3).
