Wild Goose Hunt

The State of Indiana has authorized the hunting of Canadian Geese in 30 Northern Counties.
An experimental hunt targeting Indiana's growing flocks of Canada geese began Friday in 30 northern counties where hunters can shoot up to five of the birds every day for the next two weeks.

State wildlife officials hope the hunt, which runs through Feb. 15, can reduce Indiana's breeding population of Canada geese from about 125,000 to 80,000 birds.

Make sure you get the proper licenses, folks... and remember, birds used to be dinosaurs and they will be again if we don't stop them.
