So back in 1977, a year we're all familiar with, a guy in Alexandria, Indiana started painting a baseball... coat after coat after coat of paint. In May of 2004, Guinness recognized the ball, then surrounded with 15,000 coats of paint, as a world record paint ball. But the story doesn't leave off there, he kept on painting and invited anyone passing by to add to the ball as well... so everyone who paints the ball, is setting another world record.
So, as you notice in the picture above, Sevens member Scott Elzey set a world record by putting on the 21,147th layer of paint on a baseball.
Congratulations, Scott! Now no one can say our class doesn't have world famous and successful members.
